With a background of over 10 years in data protection, my ethos focuses on working hard to help organisations ensure ethical data handling becomes the norm. I have worked as the Data Protection Officer for a variety of organisations in the retail, local government and charity sector.
Charities and NGOs typically process a lot of personal data - including for research, employment and donations purposes. I'm interested in volunteer roles where I can help charities develop their data protection governance framework and protect volunteers', staff and communities' data. This includes as a statutory DPO or advisor.
