About me

I am a history graduate and bookseller with a passion for reading, writing, research and project organisation. I work to a high personal standard, and flourish both in a team and as an independent worker. I am a voracious reader with growing experience in the book industry.

- Years of experience in the retail sector in high pressure situations, constantly using problem solving and excellent social skills to excel in any environment. Most recently, almost 3 years of experience in the book industry, during which time I have read extensively across both fiction and non fiction genres.

- Editor and publishing assistant at Fox Finch and Tepper, Bath. Worked as an editor on our latest publication 'Iberia' by Julian Sayarer, which has since been long listed for the Onjaatje Prize.

- Well versed in design tools such as Indesign to create eye catching publicity and marketing aids.

- Confident organising and hosting events with writers and public figures, having interviewed people such as artist Celia Paul and author Samantha Harvey to discuss their respective works.

What am I looking for

Like many people during the past two years, I have been reconsidering my personal and career centric priorities, and have realised that I want to put my energy into creating positive change.

I'm primarily looking to offer my editorial experience and book industry/publishing knowledge to improve communication of important and complex topics (climate change, poverty, food sustainability etc) to the general public, as well as to larger scale corporations and groups.
