About me

I am an experienced solicitor with expertise in employment law, HR, litigation and contract review and drafting. In addition to extensive advocacy experience, I have a great deal of experience drafting policies, procedures and contracts; providing proactive advice to management and HR; and conducting internal investigations and in-house training. A former journalist, I also have writing, research, marketing, strategy and partnership building experience.

I have considerable trustee, charity and volunteer experience, with a focus on risk management and good governance.  I have served on the board of trustees of a law centre, on the board of women's legal and local organisations and on the board of a local law society. I have also volunteered to provide legal assistance to clients at Toynbee Hall's Free Legal Advice Centre and have advised a large UK charity on contract and employment matters, among other volunteer and legal volunteer roles. Currently I'm a legal trustee at BASIC, an international think tank, and a general trustee at the RSPCA London East Branch.
