I started my career in Human resources, then moved into management consultancy for some years. I specialized in designing HR Information systems. I spent 13 years at Oracle, one of the largest IT companies in the world, where I ran a team of over 60 people worldwide as Vice-President of a 40 million dollar department building and selling IT systems for human resources. I acquired skills in management, team leadership, public speaking and business strategy. I was also required to write detailed technical and IT documents. I semi-retired in 2006 and my husband and I bought a small hotel. I acquired more small-scale skills in website design and build, social media marketing, and customer relations. I'm proficient in MS office tools, website design tools, Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. I now do fund-raising and grant applications on a small scale as Secretary of our Village Committee and Parish Meeting. I volunteer weekly at Petworth House.
I'm looking for a role where I can put my organizational, management and IT skills to some use.
