I’ve been lucky to have had a very fulfilling career bridging the tech/digital and commercial worlds in a variety of strategic roles, helping drive value to customers, colleagues and companies. I’m now doing part time management consulting - focusing on where I can add most value doing the stuff I enjoy - while almost invariably this is labeled ‘digital transformation’, it is really how a relentless focus on the end customer can transform the effectiveness of a business, along with increasing the fulfilment of colleagues in that business.
Outside my work life, I’ve enjoyed helping a charity that is focused on tertiary education in Africa, enabling gifted students who would otherwise miss out on a university education to gain skills that will transform life for them, their families and communities. As well as providing advice behind the scenes, I’ve developed a completely new website, including editing compelling case studies.
Providing strategic advice and options for charities to consider as they assess how they can operate more effectively at a time when digital transformation is changing every aspect of our lives. I bring a proven toolkit - with relevant case studies - for designing transformational change, which various executive teams have found to be very helpful as they review their strategies and change agenda.
