Work history

About me

In the last few months I have joined the Trustees' Charity that is reviewing SORP (Statement of Recommended Practice) for Charities . For more than a year I have been an external trustee of  Keele University Post Graduate Association and I have found this position to be invigorating as I am deeply involved in updating their constitution. For the past 4 year a trustee of Birch Community Centre (Rusholme, Manchester) and would recommend to you all to become trustee of your local community centre. I am currently involved in ensuring the permanent ownership in trust by the charitable company and the Charity Commission have now issued a Section 80 Notice to that effect. I should be most interested in helping any charity especially in this difficult economic climate by ensuring it has the proper Risk Assessment  and is run correctly (good governance) as well as ensuring that it meets all the strategic short and long term  goals. So.If you are a charity in the Greater Manchester area that is serious in wanting someone with my practical experience and financial background then I shall be delighted to make the time to help: but time wasters are not wanted!

I have a deep understanding of the small business area having been in business for a decade and also lecturing widely on that subject area. So if a go - ahead company is looking for  Non Executive Director who will make a positive contribution to the bottom line, then I am that person!

I look forward to your reply

Jonathan Grosskopf

ps For 10 years I was involved as a Management Accountant etc in the Family Textile Merchanting Business so I have the business skills as well as the technical expertise to assist any small charity or even a students' union (Keele Post Grauate Association), that I have recently joined in 2019 as an External Trustee of Keele Uni Post Graduate Association, a fab experience. I look forward to sharing my professional experiences with other go - ahead Student Unions.

What am I looking for

I am looking to make a positive contribution to a SME company or a charity wanting a Non Executive Director willing to help that organisation grow and have the right plans in place to meet the uncertain political and economic problems currently facing us. I am first a practical business person, professional trained in finance and have a masters degree in Charity Administration so I have the technical knowledge and practical expertise to make a difference to your organisation. Now it is up to you to contact me. Thank You.
