About me

Having worked as a judge and judge of appeal, anti-discrimination commissioner, barrister and human rights lawyer, and now working in academe as senior teaching fellow (UK) and adjunct professor (Australia) and where I have worked previously as visiting professor (UK and US), as well as having undertaken community work as a volunteer in women's organisations, I bring a multifacetted skill set to the arena. My abilities include legal expertise, management, public speaking and communication skills through publication (books - monographs and edited works), media - film, television, radio, online and social media). I am committed to social, economic and political justice, environmental harmony and combatting climate change, and to contributing to world change for women's rights - recognising that enhancing the rights of women is beneficial to humanity as a whole.
