An experienced strategic communications, engagement and reputation management specialist with over 30 years’ commercial experience in the private sector, including departmental P&L and risk accountability in a large, privatised water company and at the helm of successful start-up business.
Used to working with, influencing and challenging Directors and Boards of large water companies, strategic regional groups and committees to devise governance structures and plans, founded on strong CSR principles, to enable them to meet the multiple requirements of regulators and other stakeholders.
Acknowledged expert in crisis management and reputational issues, as well as engaging customers and stakeholders and using that insight to drive organisational strategy and development. Strategic and operational experience in complex regulatory issues and compliance; transformation programmes; media and political management; and creative engagement strategies that transform the customer experience.
Looking to give something of my extensive executive experience and expertise back to charitable and not for profit organisations serving local communities.
Interested in volunteering in `public service' arenas and charitable/not for profit sectors which can benefit from my private sector expertise and experience. Particularly interested in health, social welfare and education sectors.
