About me

I am the Secretary and HR Executive for the Management Board of the International Human Right's Chambers, Doughty Street. I am a self-motivated and enthusiastic person. I enjoy being a part of a team as well as working independently to my fullest potential. I am excellent at completing work to my best of abilities within time restricted situations. I have the ability to remain patient and level headed in tumultuous conditions, and relish the excitement of new tasks. On top of working, I volunteer actively, and have done so for the past five years at five different organisations, Age UK, Macmillan, Cancer Research, my local gardening committee and the London Canal Museum. I love learning new things and being given the opportunity to share my interests.

What am I looking for

  • Volunteering with the elderly. From the age of 16 I began tutoring an elderly couple with how to use their IT. I found this the most delightful experience. Once I reached 18 and I was able to complete my DBS Extended check I began volunteering with Age UK and became a party manager at my local care home. I would love to have a more hands on role with an organisation focussed on the elderly.
  • Administrative support- I have a knack for keeping organised and people management and would love to extend this voluntarily
  • I love to knit, garden and be creative- I would love to be able to teach
