About me

I work as a senior lecturer at Anglia Ruskin University  My teaching areas specialise in strategic HR and personal development.

I hold a doctorate in Education from the University of Reading and I have been awarded Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. My research,  academic publications and public speaking are based on transferable and employability skills.

During the pandemic I revisited my previous training in neurological coaching and completed a first aid course in Mental Health. This led to me writing about conscious living on the blog: www.beontopofmylife.co.uk .

I have lived and worked in five different countries and my early career was in events management for both Disneyland Paris and Walt Disney World Florida.  Once in the UK I worked in more senior roles for the NEC-Group in Birmingham and the Crowne Plaza.

After heading up "Learning and Development" for Damco/Maersk, I transitioned to academia where I quickly developed a love for teaching and working together with students, helping them achieve their goals.

What am I looking for

Content writing, blog post, training.
