About me

Professional experience

I am a business analyst contractor specialised in IT and digital transformation projects. My day job involves modelling and analysing business processes, eliciting requirements particularly for software systems, business process design, business change analysis and transformation planning. In layman's terms this means I work with teams of software developers and managers from the "business" (be it civil service or a private sector organisation), to identify what change is sought and analyse the best way to get there. I am also a qualified scrum master with project management experience in an agile or PRINCE2 environment..

Previously working in start ups, I have experience launching organisations from the ground and securing private sector seed funding for companies with social impact. I also have experience in stakeholder management, industry relationship building and sales and marketing from building the initial strategy and pipeline to securing new customers and clients.

My experience stretches across multi-national organisations, central and local government, and tech start ups.

Charity sector experience

From November 2015 to July 2017 I was a trustee and became Chair of Aylesbury Vale Rape Crisis. We were able to grow the board of trustees and restructure the organisation to provide stability to the service. We were also able to extend our services to support clients of all genders and survivors of all forms of sexual assault and abuse. I presented on behalf of the charity at a Buckinghamshire Care event, winning funding.

2016 - 2017 I held the role of Women's Officer at my local Unison branch when working in local government. I used this role to promote equality in the workplace and provide support for our women members.

I set up a charitable trust in 2011 on behalf of investment bank, Spayne Lindsay & Co, taking the trust from initial conception through the legal registration and set up to organising the regular Board meetings and initial donations of the trust.

What am I looking for

I am looking for a trustee role where I can share any of my expertise and help an organisation grow in size and impact.
