I have had a number of different roles during my working life.  For the past couple of years I have worked part time which has allowed me to volunteer with Age UK as a befriender.  I have in the past done other volunteer roles.  I worked with the Samaritans for a while taking calls on their help line.  I've also acted as an advocate with Age UK, helping older people with their issues.  The last 20 plus years I have worked in Human Resources and ideally I'd like a volunteer role where I can continue to use these skills now that I have decided to retire from my role.  I love working with people, still have a lot to give.
