About me

With proven success spanning over 30 years leading specialist crime investigation operations, covering anti-corruption, counter-terrorism, and homicide, combined with a strong academic background culminating in a Master’s degree in Forensic Investigative Psychology, I am now seeking further opportunities in the voluntary sector

As you will see from my attached CV, I’ve built my career in a variety of roles, including recent success as Detective Superintendent within the Metropolitan Police Service’s Serious and Organised Crime unit. During this time, I have closed some of the most complex and serious cases, bringing offenders to justice and protecting community, individuals, and businesses.

• Played instrumental roles in transformational and organisational changes, process improvements, new systems implementation, and effective allocation of resources.

• Lectured on many subjects for U.K. policing and NGOs as well as  at institutes such as FBI Academy at Quantico and RCMP at Ottawa.

• Worked as a volunteer for a children’s charity for 35 years.  Advisor on Risk, safeguarding and crisis management.
Previously a trustee in a homeless charity in East London. Specialising in risk, safeguarding and training volunteers

What am I looking for

Enjoy working in an operational role, using my mentoring and negotiation skills.
Open minded at this stage to look at many types of time.
