I will consider this on a case by case basis.
I work as an international tax consultant in London for a large multinational. This year my company will provide me with 8 days of volunteering allowance to work with a charity of my choice. I feel privileged to have the opportunity to help other people at the same time that I learn new skills which will make me grow professionally.
I am a Spanish national with a finance background. I see myself using my work skills to volunteer for a charity that supports any minority group in London - in particular, the LGBT community, homeless people, youth education to name a few.
I am seeking for Trustee opportunities so that I can learn new skills around strategy setting, fund raising, general management, etc.
My skills: finance, taxation, advanced project management skills, general management, sales, drafting proposals, organising training courses, legal (around tax and company law), language skills, etc.
