Work history

About me

I am an experienced trustee. I have been Vice Chair of BEfriend, a befriending charity based in West London, for the past three years. I have also been a Trustee of Young Ealing Foundation, from the start of the charity and have been involved with staffing, recruitment and HR support to the Director.

With over 20 years working within recruitment, as a manager and business development specialist, as well as having extensive experience recruiting for the charity sector.

I have been volunteering for a number of years which include being chair of the PTA for both primary and high schools. Within these roles I managed teams of parent volunteers, was involved in the strategy and planning for fundraising and events. Managed summer fetes, quiz nights and various other fundraising events.

I currently volunteer with Contact the Elderly and host tea parties for a group of elderly people. I host two or three parties a year.

I have also volunteered at Walk the Walk and the London Marathon as a team leader for stewards and cheering posts.

What am I looking for

I am looking for a trustee role within a local charity. I have trustee experience with children and young people, and loneliness and social isolation with the elderly and mental health issues.
