I would be more than honoured to use the skills that I have honed during seven years of career within the PR and comms sector to help raise the profile of charities and non profit organisations and their vital social impact activities. I have extensive experience in dealing with complex policy issues from a communications perspective and helped several brands, including public bodies, leverage on the news agenda to highlight current issues, promote their stories, increase tourist arrival numbers or brand recognition. I have organised huge scale events, brokered influencer and celebrity endorsements, devised international and local media campaigns, managed radio, paid media and tv partnerships for a wide range of lifestyle, tech and tourism brands therefore I am strongly convinced I could bring a whole different, original and fresh perspective to very pressing issues. I am now even more adamant to help make a change. By bringing to the table my in-depth knowledge of UK media, strong press connections, passion for the cause and multi-lingual communications skills I am confident I could help make a difference and amplify a charity's core messages. It would be the chance to use my experience to truly make a difference and shed a light on timely, excruciatingly important matters. I am also fluent in 4 different languages: in addition to my native Italian, I have an almost native command of English, French and Spanish.
I am very fond of wildlife as an avid traveller and interested in the very pressing topics of climate change, mental health, homelessness. I am particularly interested in the current conversation around empowering young women (but not only women, all of the younger generations, especially from vunlerable backgrounds) to take control of their lives / right to education / fair recruitment process to unleash their true potential.
