About me

A professional, articulate and conscientious person with good communication skill, strong commercial and business acumen who is able to operate at Board level. I demonstrated commitment and the ability to step up to new challenges throughout a 37 year career in BT. Following retirement in 2015, I joined the Trustee Board of a local charity and led activity to improve the organisations governance, I created key policy and procedure documents to assure the charities management and operational controls. I  also led fundraising activities for a number of projects and secured several grants from local  and national organisations. A positive, self-motivated and enthusiastic leader who enjoys working in a team environment, always approachable cheerful and friendly.

What am I looking for

Retired from full-time employment in April 2015, I now have have a five years experience working as an active member of a trustee board for a Bereavement Counselling Charity. I am now looking for a fresh challenge and hope to make an effective contribution in a Project / Programme deliver, Trustee or mentoring role, as a part-time volunteer to a reputable charity or voluntary organisation.
