Depending on the role, I am available 2-4 hours a week, mostly after working hours and/or saturdays.
I have a strong third sector and education background managing, leading, collaborating and delivering numerous high-profile projects from inception with a variety and diversity of stakeholders, due to my experience in the Web, Digital and IT sector. My skills encompass the introduction of productivity and collaboration platforms, development of front-facing websites and the development of bespoke software/services for various business and organisational needs.
I have broad volunteering experience as, a Treasurer for the Nigerian Society Club at the University of Birmingham, a Student Representative at Birmingham City University and currently as a member of the Hounslow Leaseholders’ Forum. I have also previously volunteered my time mentoring younger professionals, providing guidance, coaching and support to develop their skills and confidence. I volunteer to widen my social impact and to make a positive difference in other people’s lives.
As an expert in my field, I engage with solution providers technical experts and developer communities to strategise, define, develop and deliver on numerous innovative technology projects. I actively listen to stakeholders, to pinpoint key stressors, assessing the underlying issues and providing targeted solutions in a collaborative environment. I believe that these skills are essential to working effectively in a team especially in a volunteering capacity.
I am interested in volunteering at the non-executive or trustee level to consult as well as provide guidance and advice to senior executives and board members using my technology, web and digital experience and skills.
