Work history

About me

I am a trained Neuroscientist and worked as researcher for most of my career. This has granted me valuable insights into the human brain and behaviour (particularly memory), as well as a vast range of (quantitative) analyses skills. Two years ago I left academia, as I wanted to apply my skills and expertise in a role that was closer and more impactful to the community. I now work in the Higher Education sector, where I work with students who are typically underrepresented in this context to inform them of their options and promote their access to Higher Education.

I have had different volunteer roles throughout my life, in charities or events related to education, science and science communication and homelessness.

My skills include:

  • data analyses
  • data management
  • project/programme management
  • policy

What am I looking for

  • Education
  • Equality/Social Mobility
  • Science/Science communication
  • Mental Health
  • IBD/Crohns disease
  • Climate crisis
  • Homelessness
