Volunteering to me is about shared and joint working to share skills, learn, cultural exchange and to reach agreed outcomes together. I enjoy volunteering as a way of meeting new people, giving something back to the community and helpinng others to be the best they can. Quite simply to make a difference
I have volunteered in Asia, in the Uk and managed volunteers through work and projects outside of work. Volunteering enables communities to work together to meet local need.
I have a wide experience in social care and this has given me a range of skills such as communications skills, delivering and devloping new projects, managing change, developing and supporting staff, mentoring and coaching. I really enjoy working with others and would like to expand my skills whilst working with others.
I am interested in supporting organisations that meet the needs of vulnerable people and developing my skills as a trustee / Board
I enjoy developing others through coaching and mentoring and organisational development and change- I have a solid background in menoring and staff development as well as substantial experience in strategic planning and senior operational management of CQC registered and other social care services.
