About me

I think my CV provides most of this information and so I am pasting my Personal Profile from there:

I am a qualified accountant with many years of financial management and accountancy experience, mostly in local government. I have worked closely with social services departments in a number of local authorities and most recently with early years education. I have experience at a senior management level and have regularly attended and presented at committees and management boards. I retired from paid work in 2011.

Since retiring I have worked with various charities as trustee and treasurer. This has given me valuable experience of the charity sector and I have also used Quickbooks and Paxton Charities software to a reasonable level of proficiency. I have also enjoyed contributing to developing strategy, HR, Governance matters and other involvement outside of mainstream finance.

What am I looking for

I am looking for a treasurer role in one of the areas I have ticked. I would also be happy to use my skills and experience to help any charity on a pro bono consultancy basis subject to payment of expenses.
