I am currently a Technology, Data and Analytics Associate in Risk Assurance within a multinational, Professional Services firm, where I focus on data assurance, governance, analytics, and risk management for Government and Public sector clients. I am also involved in internal diversity and inclusion networks which supports ethnic minority staff and raises awareness of race, culture and ethnicity whilst working cross-departmentally to determine interventions, support delivery and review progress. I support the firms widening participation recruitment events, and volunteer as a mentor for students from under-represented backgrounds, provide advice, reassurance and insight into the skills required for a career in Professional Services, application processes, confidence and networking skills and other experiences.

I am also a trustee for an infrastructure charity which provides small, not-for-profit organisations with the relevant information, advice and support to help them deliver what they want and to also make sure their voices are heard. Within this, I have experience in charitable governance, conflict resolution and communications.

Previously, I was a trustee for a democratic membership organisation focussing on advocating the student voice, ensuring that the University and the wider community are listening to what students want and collaborate to improve students’ experience.
