About me

I am an operations leader with over 25 years experience in and around the water industry.  I am experienced in leading teams, creating strategy, coaching and mentoring, financial control, governance, health and safety, identifying issues, creating and delivering change to resolve those issues.  

I have led customer facing teams and more technical engineering teams, written and tendered contracts and managed contracts.  More recently I am programme managing large cultural and performance improvement change initiatives.

I also spent 2 years as a Director in a waste to energy startup where I was responsible for governance, oversight of the finances and creating the operational strategy.

I love the outdoors and physical challenges, I keep fit and have two horses that I compete.

I am keen to volunteer so I can use the skills I have accumulated over the years for something I am passionate about such as climate change. I also want to develop my skills and experience around governance and be an integral part of a team working for the success of an organisation.

What am I looking for

I am interested in roles where I can use any of the skills I have, but am particularly keen to help resolve issues, though identifying root cause, developing plans and delivery those plans.  I love coaching and developing people and leading a team .

Causes that interest me are primarily linked to climate change so include the environment, waste to energy/minimisation, sustainability and education. I am also keen on the outdoors, wildlife and developing people.
