I’m an IT Professional with over 11 years of industry experience in leading cross-functional teams across service delivery, product management, IT strategy, IT Business Analysis, Business Process Automation, designing software applications, software testing, payment system integration and implementation for telecommunications and banking institutions in Nigeria and UK. Simply put, I love using technology to simplify business processes in order to maximize end-user adoption.
I’m currently the interim Head of Product at one of fintech startups here in London where I lead a lean team of 5 which basically requires me to coach, lead and mentor members of my team.
Having managed financial banking applications that accrued over £2Million in revenue, exposed me to the implications & attendant effects of cyber hacking and this was one of the main reasons why I decided to further my education after 11 years of leaving undergrad. I’m currently enrolled for my master’s degree in Cybersecurity at the University of Hertfordshire, the UK which has been exciting & challenging at the same time.
I also have volunteer experiences such as being a STEM ambassador with STEM learning UK where I speak and mentor teens on the various opportunities available to them in STEM and serving on the Mentoring Committee for AnitaB.org.
On the health side, I currently serve as COVID Volunteer with Communities 1st(within the St Albans & Hertfordshire Community)
My volunteering interest lies at the intersection of Health, Poverty Alleviation, Education (Science and Technology), DIsaster & Humanitarian Relief)
