About me

I am a director with nine years experience in property leadership and executing transformation programmes to deliver better outcomes for customers. I have extensive experience initiating, influencing and implementing strategies globally.
I am very customer focused, my current role aligns property, procurement and technology to create a modern integrated workplace experience for colleagues. I am a strong leader coaching high performing teams across the world.

I believe there are 3 simple principles that have helped me to be successful in all my roles:

  1. To work with stakeholders to identify a common purpose and goals,
  2. to simplify our way of working and make sure we are easy to do business with,
  3. and to make sure we celebrate the success of our people and recognise the value we provide. 

These 3 simple principles have helped me to develop a reputation for delivering solutions to complex issues, large strategic plans and transforming and motivating my teams.

I have a strong moral compass and sense of social responsibility, I set high standards for my team and under my leadership they have achieved the Investors in People Gold award, the Customer Service Excellence standard, the ROSPA Occupational Health and Safety Gold standard, and the Business Disability Forum Silver standard.  We have also been highly commended by the British Institute of Facilities Management for our Impact on Sustainability for work we’ve done with customers and suppliers to bring environmental innovation into the organisation.  In 2017, we were benchmarked in the top quartile of the FTSE 100 for environmental performance and won the Green Business Award.  We recently achieved our goal to deliver CPR training to 40,000 of our colleagues in conjunction with the British Heart Foundation.

I recognise that this success is a result of working together with others.  It takes many stakeholders to deliver these activities and as their leader, I am also their ambassador.  It is my responsibility to build the relationships across the organisation and externally that enable the team to flourish.
