With over a decade of experience in the third sector, I have worked for a number of education charities leading small delivery teams through periods of exponential growth. As a result, I have a deep understanding of capacity building and strategic change management.
I am passionate about driving change for families and young people by making educational opportunities more equitable. My background is predominantly in programme design and delivery, monitoring and evaluation, and fundraising, but having worked primarily in social enterprises, I have worn many hats - from HR to legal and feel I have a lot to offer organisations going through growing pains or having to cover a number of bases with limited capacity. I believe small organisations can make a big difference if they have a clear vision, robust monitoring and evaluation systems, and commitment to their stakeholders.
I am currently based in Liverpool and am keen to contribute locally, however, my career is London-based and I am very familiar with that landscape.
I am primarily looking for a trustee role that would allow me to apply my skills – leadership, fundraising, change management, delivery solutions, monitoring and evaluation - to improve the lives of families and young people in the UK. Ideally, I would like to work for a not-for-profit or private sector organisation delivering services in Liverpool, but I am open to remote opportunities.
