I am a development professional with over 16 years of experience at the united nations and in international charities. My skills includes strategic planning, performance management for accountability (including board reporting), compliance with charity commission requirements, evidence and e-learning, project management (Agile certified), development of project proposals, evaluation management, knowledge management and sharing, team management, budget and risk register management.
My work has focused on social justice, youth employment in crisis settings, decent work, technical and vocational skills training, e-learning, gender equality in the workplace, elimination of child labour, elimination of acute malnutrition, animal welfare and wildlife conservation.
I have been a visiting lecturer at the London South Bank University for 5 years inspiring young people to use their knowledge and skills for development. I have also volunteered in my local community during my University years, giving extra tuition to children from underprivileged backgrounds.
I am interested in a trustee role for a small to medium size organisation.
I am very interested in supporting young people from underprivileged background, helping them find their place in society, supporting equal opportunity and access to decent work. I am particularly interested in supporting those who are discriminated because of their social background, origin, sex, religion, disability etc.
