I am available at any time Monday to Friday, I am also available during the day time on most Saturdays and Sundays.
I am 55 years old and retired. After graduating with a degree in physics, I spent the first 20 years of my life in electronics manufacturing roles, starting in quality engineering, moving to production management followed by 3 years overseas as Vice President of Manufacturing of computer assembly plant in India. On my return to the UK, I ran a printed circuit assembly facility in the North West of England. I then moved in to a manufacturing strategy role and developed and implemented a companywide process re-engineering and reorganisation project. As the company I worked for grew, I moved into a mergers and acquisitions role, which included assessing the potential of acquisition targets and integrating them into the fold once acquired. My final role was a Director of World Class Manufacturing for Europe and Asia, rolling out various improvement initiatives across several plants.
In the early 2000's I decided that I had done enough travelling and purchased a small local retail business which I ran successfully with my wife for over 10 years, having retired from that a couple of years ago, I now find myself with some spare time and wish to share my knowledge and experience with others.
I have formal qualifications as follows:

Happy to try anything, but my main strengths are my ability to take an in depth look at an organisation and understand how well activities are aligned with goals, than making suggestions for change and if required planning and implementing change.
