I have been working in the non-profit sector for 20 years, including 16 years of public health programme management and grants management in Zambia, the Netherlands and Geneva, Switzerland, in senior management roles I have a Bachelors degree in Mathematics (2001) and a Masters in International Development (2007). Having worked abroad for nearly all of my career, I have taken a career break and returned to the UK, while I decide what to do next in my career. I am currently doing a second Masters in Psychology as well as a qualification in Graphic Design. At the same time, I am volunteering two days a week as a generalist adviser for Citizens Advice, as I familiarise myself with the third sector here in the UK. I am also supporting a couple of other small organisations with their strategic planning, organisational development and fundraising, as well as being a Trustee for a development charity. My experience has largely been with human rights and public health work, but I am keen to support organisations from all sectors as I am confident I have a lot to offer, equally I have a lot to benefit from further exposing myself to a rich and vibrant third sector in the UK.
