Zephyr’s provides support for bereaved families in Nottinghamshire following pregnancy loss or the death of a baby or child. We support anyone who has experienced loss, from early gestation to the death of an older child. Although a recently registered independent charity, we offer a well-known established service of bereavement support, having worked for 4 years under the banner of Nottingham Hospitals Charity. We’ve built a community with close connection to NHS staff who endorse and refer to our charity. Zephyr’s is run by bereaved people for bereaved people: we offer a community of understanding. The lived experience of trustees/staff/volunteers guides us to run a relevant, meaningful service that is truly needed.

We offer a variety of peer and professional support, including: specialist baby and child loss bereavement counselling, yoga, woodwork, wellbeing walks, drop-in support online and in person, pregnancy after loss activities, and more. We have aspirations to offer other  services that reach different members of the family also, and wish to continue to develop our nurturing and holistic approach to support, for anyone who may need us in the city, county and local area. Zephyr's provides opportunities for parents to acknowledge, express and explore difficult emotions in safe, structured settings.
