Objectives

The Group has 11 stated aims with the overall goal to educate and empower young people to take charge of their lives and encourage them as they transition into adulthood. 

Our objectives are to;

  • Provide a safe, proactive, interactive online platform for young people
  • Educate and support young people in their personal development and areas that traditional educational institutions do not cover
  • Inspire, encourage, and promote young people's involvement in society
  • Cultivate young people's skills and knowledge in response to the growing challenges young people face
  • Educate and support young people in their health & well-being (including physical, mental, sexual health, and substance misuse)
  • Build positive and impactful social and community relationships between young people and their communities
  • Facilitate programs tailored to young people and the rehabilitation of young offenders.

Y2A's typical audience is young people between the ages of 15 and 25 who are based in the UK. This customer is likely to be interested in learning more about a range of topics that are relevant to young people as they transition to adulthood, including personal responsibility, money management, credit agencies and reports, and STEM fields, among others.

Y2A offers a range of educational resources to young people. These resources include activities, workshops, seminars, and events that are designed to help young people develop transferable skills that can be applied in real-world situations throughout their lives.

  • The theme of the Week is discussions, debates, quizzes, and challenges on social media
  • Livestreams and pre-recorded videos with coaches to help young people stay active and healthy
  • Workshops and seminars on a variety of topics, such as personal responsibility, money management, credit agencies and reports, and STEM fields
  • Events such as galas, fundraisers, voluntary community involvement, trips, and days out that members can sign up for
