Objectives

Mission:

Our mission is to amplify the voices of young people; we ensure their voices are heard and acted upon.

Our work provides tools and opportunities so that young people can lead positive social change.

Vision:

A society where all young people, regardless of background;

  • Have the power and agency to shape their own lives and communities.
  • See their diverse perspectives and experiences valued and integrated into decision-making processes.
  • Benefit from equal access to opportunities to develop their leadership skills to influence positive change to the issues that affect them.

Activities

Youth Voice is a youth leadership and social change organisation. We believe no child’s success should be limited because of their background, but right now, that is not a reality.

We work with partners across the UK youth sector to increase youth voice participation and accessibility, and we collaborate with young people, practitioners, and stakeholders to develop best practices for youth leadership and social action. We empower young people aged 14 to 25 who have been marginalised by societies, systems and structures to become “Lived Experience Leaders” who can drive social change within their communities. Our youth voice work gives young people the opportunities to make a difference individually, locally, regionally and nationally.
