AIM
To support young people to enjoy today, prepare for tomorrow and become the people they want to be through recreational activities, education, social inclusion, employment and health and wellbeing.

Programs

Targeted youth Support

Provision of 1:1 ‘targeted support’ for young people as part of the Council’s early help offer. These would support 13-19-year olds who are not in education, employment or training and experiencing or at risk of a range of vulnerabilities to access group work and positive activities as defined in Section 507B of the Education Act 1996. The coverage would extend to those aged 25 if they have an Education Health and Care

Youth work

Provision of open access sessions Bath and North East Somerset and Somerset including in Bath, city centre, Whiteway and Foxhill, Radstock, Timsbury, Paulton and Westfield in partnership with Towns and Parish Councils.

Alternative Education

Individualised and group programs for young people with college provision for young people with SEND supporting them into their next steps to adulthood, employment education and training.

Southside youth and community centre

Community café, soft play, sensory room, music studio and sports areas for communities and young people working to support our local community and residents of Bath
