Objectives

YoSA is a small UK registered charity which provides sponsored finance to facilitate selected students from Africa to attend the annual prestigious London International Youth Science Forum in London.  The forum is in July and is a two week event bringing together enthusiastic and gifted young scientists to attend presentations from notable scientists and visit scientific establishments to better their understanding and development of world science.  They can then return to their country to raise the profile of scientific work.

Activities

We sponsor a small number of students by paying for return travel from their own country to London and for the LIYSF event including accommodation. The experience of the students has proved to be life-changing for many of them and enables them to contribute to the development of science in their own country.
