Young People First has supported young people for over 65 years. Our vision is 'No young person limited by disadvantage'. Our mission is to provide positive activities, create meaningful opportunities and offer tailored support so that disadvantaged young people can transition confidently into adulthood.
With our team of qualified and experienced professionals we provide a combination of services that includes open access youth clubs, one-to-one mentoring, targeted support groups, school based workshops, and outdoor residential breaks. Previously operating across Coventry and Warwickshire, in response to COVID19 the charity now operates exclusively in Warwick District. Big believers in collaborative working, Young People First works closely with schools, social services, police and other local voluntary and faith based organisations and collectively we reach over 300 vulnerable young people a year whose lives have been impacted by poverty, unstable home lives, mental health problems and more.
