Young Manchester is a membership organisation and a Young People's Foundation. We exist to strengthen, connect and champion organisations and leaders of all ages, who are supporting and delivering for children and young people in Manchester.

We know we can only begin to address the scale of the challenge we face by putting the voices and lived experiences of children and young people at the heart of what we do. As staff, trustees and ambassadors, young people are actively shaping our day-to-day activities.

Together, we are seeking to understand, address and challenge the root causes and direct impact of poverty, inequality and exclusion for children and young people in our city. Guided by young people, our work is rooted in inclusion and equity, striving to ensure that opportunities are accessible to all, no matter the barriers and challenges that they may face.

We know we cannot do this alone, and we don’t want to. We are prioritising collaboration and collective impact, seeking to work with and build up others whilst creating strong alliances and networks across the city, tackling our greatest challenges as partners.

We will ensure that all our work is high quality, impactful, and ultimately making a difference, working with our members and stakeholders to build evidence, demonstrate value and champion the impact that youth and play work has on children, young people and communities.
