Young Harrow Foundation (YHF) was set up in 2015 and is funded for three years by John Lyon’s Charity and City Bridge Trust. It is designed to be a new model of local support for ‘not for profit’ organisations working with children and young people in Harrow within a climate of decreasing statutory provision and support for young people. YHF is seeking new ways to strengthen the relationships between funders and local organisations so that more effective ways of supporting and delivering activities can be established to meet the needs of children and young people.
YHF is managed by a Board of Trustees with a range of skills and experience. Our CEO, Dan Burke, is responsible for its day to day operation. Young Harrow Foundation is a registered charity and will be a ‘member-led’ organisation.
Our aim at Young Harrow Foundation is to assist and support the ‘not for profit’ organisations within Harrow so that every child and young person in our borough can have a greater opportunity to fulfil their potential.
Young Harrow Foundation will champion children and young people in Harrow and the charities and organisations that support them.
