Objectives

Young Hammersmith & Fulham Foundation (YoungH&F) is a local Membership charity that supports the infrastructure of the children and young people’s sector in the West London borough.

Young H&F was developed in response to the ongoing challenges facing the Children and Young People’s sector.

Our membership registration is open for everyone that works with children and young people aged 0-25. This includes youth clubs, charities, schools, businesses, voluntary groups, and the public sector.

We work closely with members to shape opportunities and create the best services for children and young people, who live, learn, play, or work in our borough.

Activities

Our three strategic focus areas are:

  • Collaboration
  • Fundraising
  • Knowledge and Youth Voice

We use our power to convene networks to connect individuals and organisations to work together.

We generate new funding by working building and managing a consortium. We also leverage funding from donors to distribute as grants.

We undertake research on thematic and topical issues that impact on children and young people. We do this in partnership with Universities as well as recruiting and training groups of peer researchers.
