Objectives

Based in and around Harrogate and Craven, Yorkshire Causeway Schools Trust is outward looking and built on the strength gained from every school in the Trust being a valued and significant part of the organisation. Yorkshire Causeway is a growing trust which includes both Church of England and community schools.

In delivering education that is ambitious in its widest sense, the Trust sets high expectations of all, regardless of starting points or situation. In all its schools, Yorkshire Causeway provides high-quality education based on common purpose, providing a rich and broad learning experience that enables students to flourish.

Activities

Yorkshire Causeway is a strong and strengthening organisation. Working together with approaching 100 volunteer governors as well asĀ  the board of trustees, its 650 staff serve 3,500 students in nine schools, delivering an ambitious education which allows all children within its schools to flourish.

In addition to its primary responsibility to ensure the very best of educational outcomes for children within its schools, the Trust also places great emphasis on being a good employer, putting the welfare of staff, as well as pupils, at the heart of all it does.
