Objectives

Y Services is a Hampshire based youth work charity that was founded in 2011. Our mission is to support and develop the delivery of quality youth work that meets the needs of local children and young people. Y Services deliver a range of projects across Fareham, Gosport, Havant, Winchester and parts of Portsmouth that support children and young people in their local communities.

We deliver quality youth work, play work and support to families. We utilise music and sports work to reach young people and help them learn. We utilise accredited outcomes and volunteering opportunities in our offer to young people. Our volunteers and staff will work in with thousands of young people annually in a variety of settings that range from purpose built youth spaces to community halls and the streets.

Young people today are having to face increased challenges and pressures and our staff and projects aim to provide opportunities to support them. We provide opportunities for young people to stay safe, be healthy, make a positive contribution and enjoy and achieve.

Activities

We offer a range of universal and targeted services including open access youth clubs, mentoring, LGBT+ specialist support, SEN work, health and wellbeing projects, sports and play work, detached projects, art & music work within the local community. We currently work in Fareham, Gosport, Havant, Portsmouth and Winchester.
