Objectives

Safe in Sussex provides a range of services to people experiencing, or at risk of, domestic abuse. The charity is dedicated to stopping and preventing domestic abuse, working in a trauma informed and client led manner.

Activities

Our services include both confidential and community refuge services for women and their children and a domestic abuse drop in centre providing information, support and access to services.  In the community we deliver support groups to women free of charge which help them to understand the tactics of an abusive person and to recover from the trauma of domestic abuse.  To break the cycle of domestic abuse, healthy relationship educational programmes are delivered into primary and secondary schools.
