Objectives

World at Play is about enriching lives through sport and play.

The charity is based in Wales. We train volunteers in sports and play leadership. The volunteers then travel as a team of nine on a ten-week expedition across Croatia, Bosnia, Serbia, Kosovo and Bulgaria, working with children in marginalised communities and refugee camps

Our programme is designed to have a long term and sustainable impact on our volunteers, on the children who take part, and on the partner organisations we work with.

Activities

A team of 9 international volunteers works together to create a fun and safe environment for children in marginalised communities to play in.

Our structured, enthusiastic and fun loving attitude to play means that each child has a right to play, regardless of gender, ability, circumstance or background.
