Objectives

Millions of children and adults continue to suffer or die prematurely from illnesses that are preventable or treatable, contributed to by the huge shortage of well-trained health workers they can turn to for help.

“Teach one well and many will be saved”

Our video training programs, using actual clinical videos of patients, treatments, and procedures, and our revolutionary system of delivery in resource-poor countries, has the potential to teach hundreds of thousands of health workers, reducing the needless suffering and deaths of so many children and adults in countries worldwide.

We have worked out how to develop video-based, context-specific training programs for health workers in resource poor countries and have proven we can do this. Examples include, ‘Caring for the Sick Child’, commissioned by the World Health Organisation, and ‘Ophthalmology for Africa’. We have spent the last year perfecting a revolutionary App/mobile phone/database system that allows these video-based training programs and continuing education to be delivered to health workers in the remotest areas of the poorest countries, where Internet access is either poor or non-existent.

We now need to take this to a global scale to ensure health workers, wherever they work are not left behind and have the best possible skill set to treat the millions of children and adults who turn to them for help.  We are looking for volunteers to help us realise this. We need:

  • Volunteers with social marketing skills to help launch a major crowdfunding initiative in the UK, USA, and other countries. We have an idea to help move this virally and access two charity crowdfunding platforms but need your help and expertise.
  • Volunteers to help with communication, so we can get our message across.
  • Volunteers with strategic experience to help us grow to have a truly global impact.
