Objectives

Worcester Snoezelen is a multi-therapy leisure therapy centre for people of all ages who have disabilities and additional needs. The charity started small in 1993 and has organically developed around the needs of the people who access our services. 250 people visit the centre each week to take part in hydro therapy, enjoy multi-sensory rooms, soft play, music or arts sessions.

The centre has been thriving for 30 years, as a registered charity and in 2020 we registered as a Charity Incorporated Oragnisation.

We aim to provide life enhancing activities through the provision of our multi-sensory centre. Our multi-sensory services offer stimulation, interaction and relaxation and quality family time. Feedback from families tell us they feel accepted, that our staff are warm and friendly and that Snoezelen is one of the few places they can enjoy themselves as a family

Activities

We run Snoezey Sundays for children and families, Sensory play for under 5's and Activity Weds for adults who have disabilities. We also have Sounds Inclusive and Rock School as well as outreach music workshops and individual sessions. Music is a really big part of the Worcester Snoezelen and offers opportunities for expression, fun with others and to further new skills. These projects run alongside our usual sensory and hydro bookings.  There is no age restriction or catchment area and we advocate a self referral booking system with services at subsidised prices.
