Our mission is to reach out and help make a difference in the lives of women involved in prostitution, vulnerable women and those at risk of sexual exploitation. As an organisation we want women to know their self-worth, that they have choices, empower them to overcome barriers to change and for them to know that we care about their wellbeing, will treat them with love, respect and a non-judgemental attitude. Women on the Frontline Ministries is a registered Christian charity based in East London. We offer help, advice and practical support to vulnerable women and those who are either in or wanting to escape working in prostitution or any other form of the sex industry. Our help matters because we provide a service that journeys alongside women whilst they transition from their current lifestyle into a destiny of hope and a better future sometimes into dreams they thought were not even possible. We listen, provide compassionate love and care to women that are so often stigmatised and rejected as social outcast.
We offer a day time drop-in service as a safe haven in order to provide more confidential one to one practical help and support, housing advice, accompanied visits to appointments, advocacy and make referrals as required. Build relationships with external organisations such as the Police, Housing, local council, Rehabilitation centres and Domestic violence services.
Additionally, we provide an outreach service at night on the streets, to known local areas of activities offering hot drinks, gift bags, a listening ear, care and compassion and information about relevant services.
