Objectives

WomenAfterGreatness (WAG) is a social enterprise on a mission to empower and equip Young Women and Girls in London to conquer negative cycles and create great opportunities. We are committed to supporting the equality and inclusion for marginalised community groups with an acute focus on issues pertaining to Black and Brown women and girls aged 13-26.

We do this through our education, training, and wellbeing program and services.

  1. We Mentor #SheMentors | Career Mentoring
  2. We Educate #SheSessions | Wellbeing & Financial Workshops
  3. We Create #SheBuilds | Productions & Events that highlight Challenges & Celebrate Culture

Our aim is to significantly reduce the number of women and girls confronted by socio-economic challenges and improve their outcomes by creating safe spaces for healthy wellbeing and personal development and provide the relevant training and education to help access greater career prospects and financial opportunities.

Activities

  1. We facilitate performance focused workshops (using short film & drama) for schools and alternative youth provisions tackling issues around, body image, conflict resolution, healthy relationships, and mental health.
  2. We create and produce work & resources for and by young people (short films, documentaries)
  3. We coordinate career mentoring for young women & Jnr Professionals who come from low income earning homes and often the first to pursue Higher Education.
  4. We host our own events that focus on empowering & educating women and girls on gaining better financial acumen, career Insights, and building healthy intergenerational relationships between mothers & daughters.
