Objectives

Wolvercote Young People's Club is in an exciting stage of its life. Opened in 1939 and having seen many expansions of its building since then, WYPC is now coming into a new era having recently appointed a Charity Manager to oversee the development of youth work and the provision for young people. We are seeking to enhance our services to support a wider community, providing training opportunities, as well as community larders, and so much more. We have big ideas to no longer be a club open a few nights a week to be a fully functioning community resource open seven days a week.

Activities

We're in a position of change. We have previously run a couple of sessions a week but are taking the opportunity with ourĀ first summer lockdown and the easing of government restrictions to refocus our efforts on becoming more sustainable for the future, so if you join us you'll be coming on board at a time when you could truly help us effect change within an organisation that has a passion to put young people at the forefront of our work. We have a building and great grounds, all we need are the people to help drive us to new opportunities.
