Objectives

  • Since launching in 2017, Wolfie’s Legacy has given more than 500 disabled dogs a second chance at life
  • The charity plans to open a one of its kind disabled dogs haven ‘Wolfie’s Legacy Rehabilitation and Adoption Facility’ in Wales
  • Founder Gill Daghistani believes education is the answer to changing the fate of the hundreds of disabled dogs needlessly put to sleep each year
  • In contrast to many other UK charities, none of Wolfie’s team are salaried, instead committing 100% of funds raised to support the dog's rescue and rehabilitation

Activities

Wolfie’s Legacy rescues disabled dogs exclusively - from all around the world before rehabilitating them mentally and physically and then rehoming them with individuals and families around the UK. Adopters of Wolfie’s dogs have talked about how Wolfie’s dogs have helped their mental health amongst other things. We are looking to work more with veterans, disabled people and old people as we grow.
