Winterbourne Medieval Barn Trust was set up to preserve and refurbish the iconic 1342 Barn described by English Heritage as a building of national importance, and to use it as a base for educating people about the history of the site and its agricultural heritage.
The Trust runs a range of activities including cultural and theatrical performances, heritage related activities and open access events. As well as increasing the number and range of visitors to the site these generate income which is used to help preserve and develop the site.
