Winning Scotland collaborate with a range of partners to improve outcomes for young people by increasing their confidence and resilience.
We believe that to make long term change happen, our partners should have equal ownership in the design and delivery of our collaboration. All of our resources and programmes are designed to be:
Our priority is helping young people and we make sure that our partners have an equal say in making that happen.
That’s why our programmes are designed to engage and empower the adults who have the greatest influence on Scotland’s children – they’re the people who care for them and work with them every day.
Our approach is highly effective. By creating a dedicated network of trained and informed coaches, teachers, carers, leaders and parents across Scotland, their influence will spread and embed in homes, schools, clubs and communities, supporting young people for years to come.
Our role is to innovate and nurture new approaches, incorporating the evidence and feedback from practitioners. We work with partners to develop programmes, and then hand them over to those partners for the ultimate delivery and sustainability of the intervention.
We collaborate with a range of partners to develop innovative, practical programmes that help young people in Scotland build confidence and resilience.
We work in schools, clubs, communities, care homes and other settings where children spend their time. We empower these groups with the skills and confidence to support young people now and for many years to come.
All of our programmes are designed to engage and inform the individuals and groups who have the greatest influence on children, like coaches, teachers, carers, leaders and parents.
These programmes are based on the research and experience of global experts in fields like education, sport, health and community development.
We are currently supporting pilots in education, physical activity, early years, care and community approaches to substance and alcohol misuse in young people.
